GUIDES TO USING JAMB PAST QUESTIONS

  1. Get a hold of jamb past questions for all your 4 jamb subjects as far back as 2006.
  2. Skim through the past questions and think about them. This will help you understand and know what techniques to use in answering them (Click here to read about how to skim).
  3. Now, begin to solve and answer past questions, year by year and access yourself.
  4. Do not rush yourself, but make sure you properly understand everything you are solving or answering.
  5. Get your notes and textbooks to properly cross check and confirm answers.
  6. Do not skip any questions. If you have a challenge, look for someone to help you with it.
  7. After solving two consecutive years, solve them again to check if you still remember them. DO NOT CRAM PAST QUESTIONS, THIS CAN MAKE YOU FAIL.
  8. Keep on practicing past questions year by year, coming down from 2006 to very recent years.
  9. Now, put yourself in an exam condition (do this about 3 times before your exam). Get a stop watch to time yourself, get all your materials ready and solve a recent year like 2016. Remember to do this 2 other times before your exam for 2017 and 2018.
  10. In each case, mark yourself and see how many you score. You should be hitting 300 and above.

In conclusion, follow these guides properly and nothing will be new to you in the exam hall. If you can effectively understand and answer about 10 years of jamb past questions, then you are on a smooth road to success in your 2019 jamb utme.

JAMB is not as hard as people deem it to be. Remember! It is all about PREPARATION.
